Markus Dobmeier, architect, is the chairman of the nonprofit association “Bauen für Orange Farm“ and initiator of “studio mzamba”. He teaches at the Department of Architecture at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. As an assistant professor for architectural design and building construction, he has directed the first DesignBuild projects at the TU Munich. Since the development of the master plan for the 2010 newly founded Ithuba School in Mzamba, South Africa, he involves architecture students in the construction of the local school village.
