Learning Pavilion

LEARNING PAVILION in a primaryschool in Ezbet Abu-Qarn, Cairo, Egypt
„build together-learn together“
EZBET ABU-QUARN
The living conditions in the informal settlement of Ezbet Abu-Qarn in Cairo are miserable. Since 2011 the Ezbet project of the University Stuttgart endeavors together with the NGO AYB from
Cairo to improve the situation of the community.
The primary school in Ezbet Abu-Qarn finds itself in a truly pitiful condition. Currently 1.421 children attend the first six classes. In each of them there are 50-60 children. The school needs urgently a space for a library and reading which would be accessible to the children. After its completion in summer 2016 it would be run and equipped by the NGO AYB
