Urban gardening

Along the Black-Bow-River runs a small path mainly used as a short cut and as a bycicle way. In contrast to the rough ambiance of the rivers surroundings one finds along the path almost idyllic situations as well as crop plants like rocket and rasperrie. The project is set up by a series of small interventions altering the perception of people passing by and creating urban farming. The idyllic moments are framed, public seating furniture is installed, patches next to the path and on the walls are created. The project aims to enhance the recreational qualities of the site as well as to activate local people to participate in the urban farming.
